Sue Ellen drops John Ross off at South Fork. She walks up to his room and says goodbye. She and JR signed the final divorce papers that day.

Sue Ellen: “Now it’s only for two weeks. As soon as I get settled, I’ll come back and get you.”

Jo Ro: “I know Mommy. I can’t wait to go to London. Will you take me to see Big Ben when we get there?”

Sue Ellen: smiling at Jo Ro’s innocence and resilience “I’ll take you to see anything you want baby.” She hugs him as JR stands in the doorway. “Now don’t give your father a hard time, ok? He’s going through enough with you wanting to live with me, so just enjoy your time together. He loves you very much Jo Ro.” JR’s heart is breaking at the thought of losing his family.

Jo Ro: “I know Mommy, but it’s his fault you always cried. Why did you marry him again?”

Sue Ellen: “John Ross, deep down your father is a good man and he loves you very much.”

Jo Ro: “Does he love you?”

Sue Ellen starts to speak and JR interrupts “I love your mother more than I’ll ever be able to tell her John Ross.” And with that he walks away and into his room.

Sue Ellen tucks John Ross in and tells him she’ll see him in two weeks. She closes his door and walks over to JR’s. She knocks but there isn’t an answer. He walks in and finds him looking at her picture and crying. “JR”

He looks up at her. “How could you defend me to him? I was horrible to you. Why don’t you hate me? You should, because I don’t deserve you or him. God finally realized that and he’s taking you both away from me. I’m sorry for all the pain I ever caused you. My heart hurts thinking of every tear you cried because of me.”

Sue Ellen comes over to the chair he is sitting in and puts a hand on his shoulder. He turns around and grabs her into his lap and holds on to her.

Sue Ellen: “JR, John Ross loves you. You can see him anytime you want.”

JR: “I know. I can’t take losing you. I love you Sue Ellen. I have always loved you and I will until my dying day.”

Sue Ellen: starts to get up “JR, please…”

JR pulls her back “Please give me one more night. Let me show you how much I love you. I’ll let you go in the morning. I promise.”

He kisses her and their passion ignites. He carries her to the bed and lays her down.

JR removes their clothes and kisses Sue Ellen passionately. She responds equally. He enters her and she screams out. “I love you Sue Ellen. I love you so much. I’ll always be waiting for you. My heart will always be yours.” He buries himself deep inside of her.

JR and Sue Ellen continue making love. He latches on to her nipple causing her to rake her nails across his back at the pleasure. “Oh God JR, no one has ever made love to me like you do.”

JR thrusts with more frenzy and they both fall over the edge, both have tears running down their face at how beautiful it was and how much it hurts that it’s the last time. He gathers Sue Ellen in his arms and they drift off for a little while. When JR wakes up it is late and Sue Ellen is getting dressed.

JR: “You’re leaving?”

Sue Ellen: “I can’t spend the night. You know that. Please don’t ask me to stay. I can’t make a life with you anymore. My heart can’t take it.”

Sue Ellen sits next to him. “JR even if I had known how our life would have turned out. All the heartache, the pain, all of it, I would have loved you anyway. I’ll take my love for you to my grave. I’ll always love you.” She kisses him softly as tears flow down her face. He whispers to her “I love you darlin’”

JR stands by the balcony and watches her drive off South Fork. “I’ll always be there Sue Ellen. I’ll never give up the hope that one day, I’ll have you back.”

It’s been about a month and Sue Ellen comes back to Dallas to get John Ross. On the way from the airport, she hopes she won’t run into JR. It’s easier to forget when she doesn’t see him.

She plays with the engagement ring on her left hand. Don was a good man, and she did care about him, maybe she even loved him but it wasn’t the passionate love she shared with JR. But that love consumed her. She couldn’t see anything but him. No, her heart was finally at ease, even if she was bored. Truth be told she missed him and the passion they shared.

Don was an average lover. They made love right before she left to come to Dallas. She had managed to hold him off until then. But he had proposed elaborately and he didn’t want to wait.

The limo pulls up in the driveway. Sue Ellen didn’t realize they had gotten there so quickly. She opened the door and started towards the pool. John Ross came racing out of the door and into his mother’s arms. “Mommy, I missed you so much.” “I missed you too baby.” She looks up and straight into JR’s eyes. Damn, why did he have to be here. Her breath caught in her throat.

JR walks over to Sue Ellen. “Hello darlin’.”

Sue Ellen finds her voice “Hello JR. John Ross why don’t you go get your bags.” “Ok Momma.”

Sue Ellen pushes her left hand through her hair. “JR , please.”

JR sees the ring and is furious “What the hell is that?”

Sue Ellen “Don asked me to marry him, and I said yes.”

JR “Do you love him? Does he make you happy?”

Sue Ellen: “He doesn’t make me cry.” And she goes into the house to help John Ross.

JR walks into the house and helps get the bags into the car. When everything is packed, John Ross gets into the car. JR holds Sue Ellen back. “I’m sorry I made you cry. I wish I could take every tear back but I can’t. I can promise you, if you stay, I’ll never make you cry again. Please.”

Sue Ellen: “I can’t. You make my heart hurt just looking at you. Please let me go.”

Sue Ellen starts to walk to the door when she feels light headed. JR walks over to her just as she faints. He catches her and yells for someone to call an ambulance.

PART 3

JR rides in the ambulance with Sue Ellen. John Ross stays at the house with Lucy. Ms. Ellie & Clayton follow the ambulance over.

Sue Ellen awakens in the ambulance. “JR..”

JR: “Honey, it’s ok. We’re on our way to the hospital. I love you.”

Sue Ellen doesn’t say anything. They take her into the emergency room and JR is waiting in a small waiting room when Ms Ellie & Clayton join in.

Clayton “What the hell happened?”

JR: getting irritated “I don’t know Clayton. They have her in the emergency room.”

Clayton: “We need to call Don.”

JR: having no intention of calling the nitwit. “Maybe we should wait until we find out what’s going on. She woke up in the ambulance.”

Clayton: “JR you can go. We’ll wait.”

JR: “I’m not going anywhere until I find out what the hell is wrong with my wife.”

Clayton starts to tell JR Sue Ellen isn’t his wife anymore but Ms Ellie puts a hand on his arm and shakes her head no.

JR paces for what seems like forever. Bobby comes in. “Do we know anything yet?”

Ms Ellie: “No, not yet.”

Bobby: “JR, you ok?”

JR: “I’ll be better when I know what’s going on.”

The doctor comes out after about 3 hours. “Are you Mrs. Ewing’s family?”

JR steps up, “I’m her husband. What’s wrong with her?”

Bobby looks at Ms Ellie & Clayton and raises his eyebrows in question. Clayton shrugs his shoulders back at him.

Doctor: “ Congratulations, Mr. Ewing you and your wife are having a baby. She’s 4 weeks pregnant. She said she’s been under some stress and that she just flew in from London today. Her stomach was also empty, so that all added to her fainting. I’m going to keep her here for observation tonight and I’ll release her in the morning. She is room 248.”

JR: smiling like an idiot “We’re going to have a baby.”

Bobby: “Uhh JR, are you forgetting something? Like you’re divorced and Sue Ellen is engaged to someone else? And how is it your baby?”

JR: “Sue Ellen and I were together the night before she left for London, exactly 4 weeks ago. Don had been out of the country for 2 weeks prior to that and Sue Ellen said he just flew into London the day before she left for Dallas. I’m going to go see my wife.”

Bobby looks after him “Jesus Christ. This is going to be a nightmare for her.”

Ms Ellie and Clayton agree.

JR walks into Sue Ellen’s room. She is asleep so he pulls up a chair and site beside her.

JR holds Sue Ellen’s hand and speaks softly. “I can’t believe we’re going to have another baby. God must not hate me after all, honey. He brought you back to me. We’re going to have another baby.” He is silent for a moment. “I love you.”

The next morning Sue Ellen wakes up and sees JR sitting by her bed. She smiles a moment, and then quietly gets out of bed and sneaks into the bathroom to get dressed. She needed to get out of there. She was sure JR knew she was pregnant. Since he spent the night he knew it was his.

Sue Ellen was getting dressed and thinking to herself how stupid she was to give him that last night. It ruined everything. Now she would never be free. But God help her, part of her was happy she was having JR’s baby. How in the hell was she going to explain to her fiancé that she was pregnant with her ex-husband’s baby? Christ, what a nightmare. JR would insist on her moving back to South Fork and getting remarried. Well, there was no way in hell she was getting sucked in again. I don’t care how much I still love him. With that statement playing through her head, Sue Ellen looked in the mirror at her reflection. She whispered, “I still love him. Hell, who am I trying to fool, I’m still in love with him.” She shakes her head in disgust. “Get a move on so you can get out of here before he wakes up.” Sue Ellen opens the door and starts to walk out.

JR moves in behind her “Goin’ somewhere sugar?”

Sue Ellen freezes in place. Ok maybe he won’t think you were trying to sneak out. Right get real, this is JR Ewing. Maybe he won’t be mad. She turns around with her best smile. “No, I wasn’t.” His eyes bore into her. He smiled his angry smile. Yep, he was pissed. “Look I have every right to leave if I want. You don’t own me.” She starts to walk out the door.

JR: He slams the door before she can get out of it and pulls her to him. “No I don’t own you, but that baby you’re carrying belongs to me too.”

Sue Ellen looks at him for a moment the breaks down. She hits his chest again and again. “I hate you. You always manage to pull me back in. I was out. I was free and I had a chance to be happy. Do you hate me that much? Do you sit and think of ways to ruin my life?”

She starts to cry and he grabs her. She starts to slide to the floor and JR falls to his knees with her. Cradling her in his arms, “Sue Ellen I have never hated you. Not for one second. I love you, more than I’ve ever loved anyone. I’m sorry you’re hurting. But I can make it better. Just give me a chance. I’m not the same man who hurt you. Give me a chance to prove it to you. I swear on my life, I’ll never hurt you again. Please honey, give me a chance, give us a chance. Give us a chance at happily ever after.”

Sue Ellen: “I can’t. I lose too much of myself when I love you, when I let you in. I can’t go through it again. I can’t.”

JR: “Yes you can. Listen to your heart. I know you still love me. Let yourself remember how good it was between us. Forget the bad times. I swear there won’t be any…” His voice trails off as Don walks in the door.

Don: grabbing JR off of SE “Get the hell off of her.” He picks Sue Ellen up and carries her to the bed.

Sue Ellen throws her arms around him and cries “I’m sorry Don. I’m so sorry. I messed up everything.”

Don: “Sue Ellen what are you talking about, sweetheart? Bobby called me and said you needed me. What happened?”

Sue Ellen looks at JR silently begging him not to say anything. “I’ll wait outside.” Jr walks out and waits outside the door. He swears he's gonna beat the shit out of Bobby for calling that moron.

Sue Ellen smiles gratefully. After JR leaves Don turns to her. “What is going on?” Sue Ellen stands up, pacing.

Sue Ellen: “I’m …God I don’t know how to say this to you. Ok, the last night I was in Dallas, when I took John Ross back to South Fork, I..I slept with JR.”

Don: “WHAT?”

Bobby has come to the hospital and is waiting with JR outside. JR hears Don yell and starts to go in after Sue Ellen. Bobby pulls him back. “You need to let her tell him.”

Sue Ellen flinches at his yelling. She whispers “That’s not all. Last night I …when I went to South Fork to get John Ross, I fainted. JR brought me to the hospital. I’m pregnant.”

For a split second Don is overjoyed. “That’s great. How far along?”

Sue Ellen looks st him sadly "Four weeks.”

Don calculates and then looks at Sue Ellen with hatred. “You slut! Why did you sleep with him? I could have given you everything. WHY??”

He grabs her and shakes her. “Stop, you’re hurting me.”

Don: “Not half as much as I’m hurting. I hate you for doing this to me.” JR & Bobby come in just as Don slaps Sue Ellen. She falls to the ground. JR rushes over to protect her and Bobby slugs Don. He calls for security and they escort him out. Bobby follows them and leaves Sue Ellen and JR alone. JR picks up Sue Ellen and sits her on the bed. Neither say a word. They just stare into each other’s eyes. The doctor comes in and gives Sue Ellen her discharge papers. The doctor says he’ll be back with the wheelchair.

Sue Ellen and JR still have not broken eye contact. She whispers “He’ll be back. He won’t let you win. I don’t want John Ross to see me like this. Take me out of here. Please.” He lifts her up and carries her out of the hospital. She falls asleep on the way out of town.

JR looks over at her as he calls Ms Ellie. Bobby has already explained to her what happened. “Momma I’m taking her away for a few days. Please keep a close eye on John Ross. I don’t know what Don will do to get back at Sue Ellen or me.”

JR: “I will Momma. I love her. I won’t let anything happen to her.” He hangs up and drives on toward the beach.

They finally make it to the beach house JR rented last night. He was planning on taking her away just so she would listen to him without distraction and so she couldn’t run away. The house is very secluded and the beach is private. The house has been stocked with everything they need.

He picks her up and carries her in the house and lies on the bed with her. “I love you Sue Ellen. I’ll make everything ok. I swear I’ll find a way.”

He falls asleep with his arms wrapped around her.

PART 4B

Sue Ellen wakes up and carefully gets up without waking JR. She sees where they are. She leaves him a note. “Out on the beach. Sue Ellen”

She slips out to watch the sunrise on the beach.

JR wakes a few minutes later and finds the note. “Well, at least she didn’t try to run. That’s a good sign.” He grabs a bottle of juice for them and goes down to sit with her. “Would you rather be alone?”

Sue Ellen smiles “No, but thanks for asking.” He sits next to her and hands her a bottle of juice. She opens it and takes some. “So, how did you have time to do all this?”

JR: “I called the first night you were in the hospital. I knew you wouldn’t listen to me unless I could get you away from distractions and there was no where you could run.”

Sue Ellen “I should be furious with you, but at least you were honest. How long are we staying?”

JR: “As long as you want to. There is enough food for at least 2 weeks. I can always get more.”

Sue Ellen is quiet. JR looks at her face, which is bruised badly. “You do realize if I ever see Don again, I may kill him for hitting you?”

Sue Ellen: “I’m surprised you didn’t when we were in the room.”

JR: “I was more concerned about you.”

Sue Ellen: “I know. Thank you, for all of this. I’m…sorry about what I said to you in the hospital.”

JR: “Don’t be, I deserved it. Sue Ellen I know I’m a selfish bastard, but that night meant everything to me. I can’t be sorry for it. My heart won’t let me.”

Sue Ellen: “I don’t regret it. I’m scared, so afraid you’ll suck me back in and it will be just like it was when I was pregnant with John Ross.”

JR: turning to her “But it won’t be like that. Everything is different. You’re different. You’re this incredibly independent woman who happens to be a very shrewd businesswoman. You haven’t had a drink in years. You’re so much stronger that you give yourself credit for. And I know this baby is mine. There is no doubt. And I want nothing more from this life than to live the rest of my days with you. I don’t even care about Ewing Oil anymore. It’s not this all-consuming poison in my life that it used to be. I love you Sue Ellen. More than you’ll ever know. I won’t force you to do something you don’t want to do. Just give me a month to prove to you I’ve changed and we can be happy, that I can make you happy. If you still want to leave, I’ll let you. All I ask is that you stay in Dallas. Just give me a chance. Let me love you the way you deserve to be loved.”

Sue Ellen: “JR it won’t matter what you show me in that month. What happens after that month? And the next month?”

JR: “Sue Ellen, there are no guarantees in life. You and I both know this.” He positions himself in front of her so that she can’t look away from him. “But, I love you. I love you so deeply, my heart aches at the thought of never being with again. I know you’re scared. I am too. But we make a hell of a team.”

Sue Ellen stands up. “I’m going to take a walk. I need some time to think.”

JR: “All right. I’ll make breakfast.” He watches her walk up the beach and throws up a quick prayer that she’ll come back to him.

Sue Ellen walks as thoughts run through her head of her life with JR. All the good times, and all the bed times.

They both stop when they catch sight of each other. They lock eyes for a moment and then Sue Ellen smiles. JR’s heart almost burst from that smile. That was the smile he loved to see on her face. The smile that told him everything was ok. He smiles back at her and she runs to him.

She runs straight into his arms and throws her arms around him. “One more chance Ewing. That’s it. You have my heart. Please don’t break me, because you’re the only one who can.”

JR: crying tears of relief “Sue Ellen. God I love you so much. I swear I won’t break you, I won’t let anyone hurt you.”

PART 5

JR makes sure Sue Ellen eats a good breakfast.

Sue Ellen tells JR she wants to go take a walk on the beach.

JR: “Do you want some company?”, hoping she’ll say yes.

Sue Ellen “Yes, I would. I want to call John Ross first, ok?”

JR: “Sure honey.” He dials the phone for her and gets John Ross on the phone.

John Ross: “Momma, are you ok?”

Sue Ellen: “What do you mean, sweetheart?”

Jo Ro: “Momma I overheard Uncle Bobby talking to Grandma and Grandpa. He said that Don hit you. Are you ok? Let me talk to Daddy for a minute.”

Sue Ellen: “John Ross, I’m fine. How did you know I was with your father?”

Jo Ro: “Momma, I know Daddy would take care of you. He loves you.” Sue Ellen smiles and puts JR on the phone.

JR: “Yeah son?”

Jo Ro: “Is momma really ok? I hate Don, daddy. When I see him I’m gonna kick him for hittin’ my momma.” JR is smiling.

JR: “Son, I promise you, your momma is fine. I’m gonna take care of her. I won’t let anyone hurt her.”

Jo Ro: “Ok Daddy. I love you. Tell Momma I love her too.”

JR: “We love you too son. We’ll call you tomorrow.” He hangs up. They grab a blanket and walk out to the beach. Sue Ellen is in jeans and a shirt, and barefoot.

JR takes Sue Ellen’s hand and they walk up the beach.

Sue Ellen: “Our son has a habit of listening in on conversations just like you.”

JR: “Hey, I only listen in on business conversations.” They both laugh.

Sue Ellen: “Do you think he’ll be alright?”

JR: “I wish you would have heard him. He said if he ever saw Don again he was, and I quote, “gonna kick him for hittin’ my momma”. I love that he is so protective of you. He is a spitfire, too. He gets that from you though.”

Sue Ellen: laughing, “I think John Ross is the best of both of us. I think this little one will be too.”

JR: “I hope so, for everything I’ve ever done wrong in my life Sue Ellen, having you and John Ross reminds me I must have done something right.”

Sue Ellen wraps her arms around his arm and they walk up the beach, just enjoying the day. They decide to sit down and watch the ocean for a little while. JR puts down the blanket and sits and Sue Ellen sits in between his legs. He wraps his arms around her.

JR breathes in Sue Ellen’s scent. She gets up to gather some shells for John Ross.

About a week later JR and SE are on their way home.

JR: laughing “Maybe a little, but there isn’t a man alive that wouldn’t think you’re beautiful.”

Sue Ellen: “Uh huh. Anyway, I’ll be glad when it’s gone.”

JR thinks he will to because every time he saw it, it made him want to choke the life out of that bastard.

Sue Ellen: “I really didn’t want John Ross to see it. But I don’t have much of a choice.”

JR: “He’ll probably want to kiss it and make it better, like you used to do to his bruises.”

They both laugh. Sue Ellen laugh a little uneasily.

JR can see Sue Ellen is apprehensive about something. He thinks it’s him.

JR: “Sue Ellen, I know you’re still frightened. I won’t do anything to hurt you.”

Sue Ellen: “It’s not that. I mean I am still a little nervous, but it’s not really you. I’m worried about Don.”

JR’s face immediately tightens up into anger. “Sue Ellen I’m not going to let anything happen to you or John Ross. I swear on my life. He’ll have to kill me to get to you or our son.”

Sue Ellen: “That what I’m afraid of. God I was so stupid. What did I really know about him? What if I had married him and he had hit John Ross?”

JR: “Honey, this is not your fault. If it’s anybody’s fault, it’s mine. I should have never let you go in the first place.” He looks at Sue Ellen and smiles. “I love you honey, and I know we were meant to be together, so nothing is going to happened to me, you, John Ross or the little one you’re carrying. Look at all we’ve been through, and we’re still together.

Sue Ellen smiles at him. JR smiles back at her and her eyes sparkle back at him. He takes her hand and kisses it and continues to hold it all the way back home.

They arrive home. JR gets out and opens the car door for Sue Ellen. They walk across the patio and John Ross comes bursting through the door running full speed. JR plucks him up before he gets to Sue Ellen. “Boy, running like that you’re gonna knock your momma down. Be careful. We have to protect your momma, ok?”

John Ross: “OK Daddy. Now, put me down. I want to hug Momma.” JR sets John Ross down and Sue Ellen kneels to his level. John Ross puts a little hand up to Sue Ellen’s face and lightly touches her bruise. “Does it hurt?”

Sue Ellen looks at her little boy as Clayton & Ellie come out. “It hurts a little, but it’s ok.” John Ross kisses her bruise and then throws his arms around his mother. Sue Ellen hugs him back and they stay like that for a few moments, as Clayton & Ellie watch. JR’s eyes fill up and Ellie notices him wipe the tear that falls before anyone sees it.

Sue Ellen lets go of John Ross and stands up. Ms Ellie hugs her. “Welcome home Sue Ellen.”

Sue Ellen: smiles, “Thank you Ms Ellie.”

Clayton opens his arms wide. “Come here young lady.” Sue Ellen walks into his arms and Clayton wraps her up in a bear hug. Sue Ellen’s arms slide around Clayton’s waist and JR is a little uncomfortable. Ellie pulls him and John Ross into the house as Clayton & Sue Ellen stay in that position.

Clayton whispers “Are you okay?” She immediately starts to cry. Clayton holds on to her tighter. “It will all work out. It’s going to be ok.” He lets her cry.

When she is spent she pulls away “What would I do without you Clayton?”

Clayton smiles at her. “You’ll never have to find out. I’ll always be here for you. Now come on, let’s get you something to eat. You are way to thin.” They both laugh and go to the kitchen where JR and Ellie are with John Ross.

JR is standing at the counter. Sue Ellen goes to him and touches his back lightly. He turns around and she smiles at him. He puts his arm around her and pulls her close. “You ok?”

Sue Ellen: whispers “Yes. It feels good to be home.”

John Ross: “Momma, are we staying here?”

Sue Ellen: “Yes baby, we’re coming home.”

John Ross smiles “All right”

JR and Sue Ellen smile as Ms Ellie and Clayton prepare lunch for all of them.

PART 7

After lunch JR and Sue Ellen go upstairs. She stops in the hallway.

JR: “What’s wrong honey?”

Sue Ellen: “What room am I in?”

JR: smiling at her, “I was hoping you wanted to stay in mine, but if you don’t we’ll make up your old room.”

Sue Ellen thinks for a moment. JR is praying for her to come into his room. Sue Ellen takes JR’s hand, “Well if we’re gonna do this, we might as well not waste any time. Guess it’s your room.”

JR swinging her into his arms, “Oh no sugar, it’s our room.” Sue Ellen laughs as he carries her into their room. He sets her down. “Are you tired?”

Sue Ellen: “I am actually. I think I will take a nap.” She goes to lie down.

JR sits beside her. “Will you have dinner with me tonight?”

Sue Ellen: “Sure. Just wake me up in time so I can get ready, ok?” She closes her eyes. JR whispers to her how much he loves her. “I love you too.”

JR gets up and decides to do some planning. He takes John Ross into town to help pick out an engagement ring. Ms Ellie helps get dinner taken care of.

JR and John Ross come back home, both excited about tonight. JR walks in to his room quietly and grabs his tux. He also lays out a dress for Sue Ellen.

He finds John Ross and puts a hand on his shoulder. “Now listen boy, you need to go and wake your momma up and give her this note, ok? Remember, it’s a surprise, so don’t give out any information.”

John Ross: excited to play a part, “Ok, Daddy. I won’t mess up.”

He runs upstairs as JR drives his car to the special destination. The limo will bring Sue Ellen.

JR drives to the lake. He has the entire are lit romantically with candles. A table is set up for two, with dinner. The radio is playing softly. He walks to the waters edge and picks up a rock and skips across the water. “Lord, I’m not a praying man, but I’m gonna make an exception. Please don’t let Sue Ellen say no. We belong together, and I can make her happy. I’ve changed and I’ll never hurt her again, just give me this one chance to have the family I’ve always wanted. Don’t let anyone mess it up. Please let us be happy.” He stands just thinking about the crazy life they’ve had and realizes how very much he loves Sue Ellen.

Meanwhile, John Ross kisses his mother awake. She grabs him and flips him onto the bed. John Ross laughs out loud. “What are you doing?”

John Ross: “Daddy told me to wake you up and give you this note.”

Sue Ellen read the note: “Get dressed and the limo will bring you to your destiny.”

Sue Ellen: looks at John Ross, “This note is kind of cryptic. Where am I going?”

John Ross: “I don’t know Momma, Daddy said he wouldn't tell me cause he knew you’d try to get it out of me.”

Sue Ellen hugs John Ross and they both laugh.

Sue Ellen goes to get ready and walks downstairs. John Ross is downstairs when Sue Ellen comes down. He stops playing and looks at his mother descending the stairs. Ellie and Clayton watch her as well. “Momma, you’re beautiful.”

Sue Ellen: “Thank you sweetheart.” She kisses him goodbye. “Make sure you listen to Grandma and Grandpa ok?”

John Ross: “Yes Momma. I will. I love you.”

Sue Ellen: “I love you too.” She hugs Ellie and Clayton and walks out the door as Bobby comes in. “Whoa…where are you headed gorgeous?”

Sue Ellen: smiles “To dinner with your brother. Bye”

Bobby stands next to Clayton and Ellie. John Ross runs upstairs to get Christopher for dinner. Bobby speaks up “Am I the only one that thinks this is a bad idea? Don’t you think Sue Ellen has been through enough with JR, Momma?”

Ms Ellie: “Bobby, I saw the look in JR’s eyes when he didn’t know what was wrong with Sue Ellen. He has changed. He is no longer consumed with Ewing Oil, or getting it back.”

Bobby: walking upstairs “It’s still a bad idea, and if she asks my opinion, I’m gonna give it. As far as Ewing Oil is concerned, JR won’t have to worry about it, because I’m gonna get it back no matter what I have to do.”

Clayton looks at Ms Ellie with raised eyebrows. “Is it my imagination or did your sons switch bodies?”

Ms Ellie “I think JR realized that in losing Sue Ellen he lost what was really important to him and now he has a chance to make that right. I don’t know what is wrong with Bobby. How can he think Don is better for Sue Ellen?” They walk to get a drink as they contemplate what is going on.

The limo arrives at the destination but Sue Ellen doesn’t get out. She is nervous that JR set all this up. She isn’t sure this is what she wants. JR is fighting his own case of nerves right now. What if she isn’t in the limo? What if she is having seconds thoughts?

The door slowly open and Sue Ellen steps out. JR’s breath gets caught in his throat as the setting sun hits her hair. She is in cream-colored gown. Her tan skin and auburn hair make her look like an angel, God, how he loved her. Please let her say yes.

Sue Ellen sees JR in his tux and his trademark Stetson. Butterflies immediately start fluttering in her stomach and she gets a familiar rush through her body. The feelings this man awakened in her were insane. Seeing him like this made her want to run to him and stay in his arms forever.

JR stood with his hands in his pockets, watching Sue Ellen make her way down the path of yellow rose petals. “Hello darlin’ ” He holds his hand out to her. She moves into his arms and he hugs her close. “Dance with me?” He takes his hat off.

Sue Ellen silently puts her arms around JR’s neck and his arms circle her waist.

JR: “Have you looked in the mirror lately? That dress is one I bought for you because I knew your other ones would be too big. You are too thin, Sue Ellen.” She gets an irritated look on her face. “Sugar, let’s just eat. You don’t have to finish everything.”

Sue Ellen: “Ok.” They eat dinner and make small talk. JR is nervous as hell. He can feel his palms getting sweaty. They finish desert and JR takes Sue Ellen’s hand as they walk towards the lake.

They stay in the lake until it gets chilly. They walk out together and JR gets the ring and puts it on her finger. “Will you marry me?”

Sue Ellen: “Yes, JR, I’ll marry you.”

JR wraps his arms around Sue Ellen and thanks God silently. They stay wrapped in each other’s embrace for a long moment.

Sue Ellen smiles as they drift off to sleep.

The next morning sunlight filters into the room. Sue Ellen and JR are wrapped up tight in each other’s arms. Bobby knocks on JR’s door but doesn’t get an answer. He opens the door and sees them wrapped up in each other’s embrace. He goes over and hits JR on the shoulder. JR opens his eyes quickly. He whispers angrily, “What the hell do you want?”

Bobby: “Get up, I want to talk to you.” He walks out the door.

JR tries to slide out of bed. Sue Ellen mumbles sleepily “Where are you going?”

JR: kisses her lightly “Ssshhh. Go back to sleep, honey. I’ll be right back.”

Sue Ellen: “ok”

JR throws on a pair of pants and a shirt but leaves it unbuttoned. He walks out looking for Bobby. Oh I am gonna bust his ass. First he calls that idiot Englishman, now this. What is wrong with that boy?

JR stalks downstairs past Clayton and Ellie. “Good morning JR”

JR walks past “Mornin’ momma, Clayton.”

Ms Ellie knows something is going on. JR stalks outside and finds bobby at the poolside table.

JR: “What the hell is wrong with you Bobby?”

Bobby; “What’s wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with you? Why do you always have to ruin Sue Ellen’s life?”

JR: “What?”

Bobby: “Why did you bring her back here? Do get that much pleasure out of breaking her down?”

JR: rubs his hand over his face and takes a deep breath. “Bobby…what the hell are you talking about? Get to the point because you’re starting to piss me off.”

Bobby: “Oh am I? Well heaven forbid anybody pisses of the great JR Ewing. You don’t deserve Sue Ellen.”

JR: yelling “Who the hell does Bobby, that jackass that hit her? The one you called by the way.”

Bobby: getting in JR’s face “I called him because he was Sue Ellen’s fiancé. He deserved to know.”

JR: “Bullshit. You knew she was carrying my baby. You should have given her time to deal with it, but Noble Bobby had to stick his nose where it didn’t belong.” JR pushes Bobby into the pool. “Stay out of my business Bobby. I’ll break anyone that tries to take Sue Ellen away from me. Brother or not.” JR walks in the house as Bobby looks after him with an angry look on his face.

PART 8B

JR goes back upstairs as Ellie and Clayton look at each other. “What’s up with Bobby? Even I can see JR has changed with Sue Ellen. And that’s sayin’ somethin’.”

Ellie: “I know Clayton, I don’t know what his problem his, but I hope for his sake he gets over it quick. JR won’t be happy if Bobby tries to talk Sue Ellen out of coming back home.”

They continue small talk.

JR goes upstairs and takes a few deep breaths before going into the bedroom. Sue Ellen is in the shower. He sits on the bed and calms himself as best he can. He gets undressed and joins Sue Ellen in the shower. He opens the curtain and steps in.

Sue Ellen sees him and knows something is wrong. “What’s wrong?”

Sue Ellen senses his insecurities, “Honey, I’ll always be yours.” JR pushes them both into ecstasy, causing Sue Ellen to cry out. JR sets her down and just holds her in his arms as water rushes over them.

They get out of the shower quietly and get dressed for breakfast. “JR, what’s bothering you?”

Sue walks up to him and wraps her arms around his waist. He envelops her in a hug. “Well I won’t ask what you were fighting about, but I hope you know I meant what I said. No matter what anyone says, I won’t leave you. JR, don’t you realize by now, we are the only ones who can destroy what we have. No one else has the power unless we give it to them.”

JR: “I love you honey. Maybe if you keep tellin’ me that, it can get through my hard head. Let’s go get our boy, and get something to eat. I’m starving.”

They walk out and get John Ross. JR carries him on his back downstairs. He holds Sue Ellen’s hand as they round the corner to the dining room. “Mornin’ everybody.”

Ms Ellie and Clayton say good morning.

Bobby and JR glare at each other. Bobby: “Good morning Sue Ellen.”

Sue Ellen: “Morning Bobby.” They all make small talk as they eat breakfast.

Bobby gets up. “I have to get going. Say Sue Ellen, how about we have lunch today so we can catch up. I’ll be near your studio offices today around noon.”

Sue Ellen: “Sure. That’d nice. I’ll see you around noon.”

Bobby leaves and JR is pissed. Sue Ellen and JR kiss John Ross goodbye and walk out to their cars.

JR: “Bobby is going to try to talk you out of marrying me again.”

Sue Ellen looks at JR “What did I tell you upstairs? I don’t care what Bobby has to say on that subject. I’ll tell you what, just so you’ll feel better, why don’t you take care of the wedding details? We can have it as soon as you want.”

JR: looking like a kid on Christmas “Really? That’s great. I’ll get started today.” Hugging her tightly and kissing her before leaving.

PART 9

Sue Ellen gets to her office and starts on the pile of work she has to work through. Her executive assistant, Christian, who is gay, comes in. (For story line purposes, Christian was with her when she bought the movie studio, and was going to go with her to London. Also, they are very good friends.)

C: “Good morning, sweetie. It’s good to have you back. You have a ton of messages.” He stops suddenly and looks at her. “You look fabulous. What have you been doing the past two weeks?”

Sue Ellen just grins at him.

Christian: gasping “Oh no you didn’t.” They both laugh. “Good for you girl. You obviously needed it. I’m also glad you got rid of the British Bore and traded him in for a big rich Texas oilman. Ride ‘em cowgirl.”

Sue Ellen laughs at him, “Yes JR is certainly all those things. Now get out so I can get some work done.” He leaves and Sue Ellen gets to work. It’s almost lunchtime and JR calls Sue Ellen. “Hi”

JR: “Hello sugar. How is your day going?”

Sue Ellen: “Good actually. Thankfully Christian took care of a lot of little things for me.”

JR: “Good. Well I just wanted to call and tell you I love you. Will I see you for dinner?”

Sue Ellen: “Yes. I should be home by 6.”

JR: “How about we go out? You can meet me at JRE and we can go to the Oil Baron’s.”

Sue Ellen: “Ok. I love you.”

JR: “I love you too, honey.”

Sue Ellen turns on her wide screen TV in the office to catch a bit of news before Bobby gets there.

Sue Ellen gets some water and sits on the edge of her desk watching the news. She takes a sip when the newscaster “And in a bit of local gossip, this reporter heard from a very good source that JR Ewing, head of JRE Industries and his ex-wife Sue Ellen Ewing, head of Dual-Star Pictures, one of the biggest movie studios in the US, are planning on getting remarried as soon as possible.” Sue Ellen spits out her water. “This will be the third time for both. We wish them all the best. Now in other news…”

Christian comes in “Well, congratulations. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me.”

Sue Ellen: “It wasn’t common knowledge. At least they didn’t mention I was pregnant.”

Christian: “WHAT??? Now way. When did that happen?”

Sue Ellen: “Christian, I’ll tell you everything, but shut the door so the whole studio doesn’t hear it.”

Christian shuts the door and sits down. “I slept with JR the night before I left for London. When I came back a month later to get John Ross, I fainted and JR ended up taking me to the hospital. We found out I was pregnant, and how far along I was, and the rest is history. He convinced me to give him one more chance.”

Christian: “Holy hell girl. I swear your life is better than my soaps. I hope I’m invited to the wedding.” They both laugh at loud at the craziness that is Sue Ellen’s life.

Their secretary Sarah (guess who) buzzes Sue Ellen. “There’s a Bobby Ewing here for you Sue Ellen.”

Sue Ellen: “You can send him in Sarah.” Christian raises his eyebrow questioningly. “My soon to be brother-in-law. I’m having lunch with him today.”

Bobby walks through the door. “Hello Sue Ellen.”

Sue Ellen hugs him. “Hi Bobby. Bobby Ewing, this is my assistant Christian Brock.”

Bobby holds his hand out and says “Pleasure to meet you Christian.” Christian smiles and shakes his hand. “Pleasure is mine. Have a good lunch. Sue Ellen I’ll have that rewrite on your desk when you get back.”

Sue Ellen: as he leaves, “Thanks Christian.” She turns to Bobby, “You ready?”

Bobby: “Lead the way.” They go to lunch.

They are eating lunch at a restaurant across from the studio. They make small talk throughout the meal.

Finally Bobby sits back in his seat. “Sue Ellen, are sure you’re doing the right thing?”

Sue Ellen: sitting back and crossing her legs “Don’t beat around the bush Bobby. It was never your specialty.”

Bobby: “Fine. I don’t think you should marry JR again. He doesn’t deserve you. He always manages to pull you back in and you end up broken in the end. I don’t want to see that happen to you again.”

Sue Ellen: “Do you think I’m that weak? I am certainly not the same naïve young beauty queen that married JR the first time, nor am I that same needy young woman that married him the second time. I run the second largest movie studio in the country, a multi-billion dollar business. I sold off a billion dollar business that I built from almost nothing. I though we were friends Bobby.”

Bobby: “I am your friend. That’s why I think you’re judgment is clouded when it comes to JR. I think you’re making a mistake.”

Sue Ellen: “So now I’m not capable of making decisions on my own? Tell me Bobby, what do you think I should do? Go back to London and raise this baby on my own? Not let JR see him? Like Jenna did with Lucas?”

Bobby: “That’s not fair. I should have been allowed to be a father to Lucas.”

Sue Ellen: “So you’re saying your brother shouldn’t be allowed to be a father?”

Bobby: “No he doesn’t deserve to have another child. And he sure as hell doesn’t deserve you.”

Sue Ellen: “I love him, Bobby. More than I’ve ever loved any other person, with the exception of John Ross, and he loves me. Even your mother and Clayton can see that’s he’s changed. I’m not stupid Bobby. JR isn’t perfect, but neither am I. He and I have decided to start over. That means not bringing up past mistakes.” She stands up “You know Bobby, you used to sound so noble when you tried to talk people out of something. Now you sound like a jealous, sanctimonious ass. I hope the old Bobby comes back because I don’t like the one that’s in front of me. Have a good day, Bobby.” With that she walks off leaving him staring astonished at her.

PART 9 B

Sue Ellen walks back across the street to her movie studio. She is furious at Bobby. She takes the elevator up to her office and doesn’t even notice that JR is waiting for her. Sue Ellen storms off the elevator talking to her self. “Self-righteous, sanctimonious jackass. “ She grabs her messages out of Sarah’s hand and continues to her office and slams the door. JR stares after her thnking how sexy she is when she's mad. Damn, he wanted her.

JR and Sarah look at each other. “I hope she’s not mad at me.”

Sue Ellen opens the door after she realizes JR was sitting in the waiting area. “Hey, I’m sorry. I didn’t notice you sitting there. Come on in. Sarah, can you hold my calls?”

Sarah: “Sure Sue Ellen.”

JR walks in her office and shuts and locks the door. JR pulls Sue Ellen into his arms and kisses her. “I sure hope I wasn’t the reason you were mad.”

Sue Ellen kisses him back. “No, your brother was. You were right, he did try to talk me out of being with you.” JR’s eyes immediately darken with anger. “He said you didn’t deserve me and you didn’t deserve to have another baby. I can’t believe him. What has gotten into him?”

JR is so pissed right now he can barely get his words out. “I can tell you what's gonna get in him. My boot is gonna be in his ass when I see him. Who the hell does he think he is? I told him I’d break him if he tried to come between us. That sonofabitch.”

Sue Ellen walks over to him and sits in his lap. JR immediately feels a calming affect as Sue Ellen showers him with kisses. “Honey, we’re not going to worry about Bobby.” He kisses Sue Ellen back. “Now why did you come by today?”

JR: “Huh? Oh, well I made some wedding arrangements and wanted to tell you about them, plus I saw the news and wanted to make sure you weren’t mad.”

Sue Ellen: “Oh, were you the anonymous source?”

JR continues to kiss her. “uhm hmm. Do you have any idea how sexy you are when you’re angry?”

Sue Ellen enjoys his kisses and slides her hand up to undo his tie. “Really?”

JR: “Really”, as he moves his hands inside and slides it off. She throws his tie on the floor.

Sue Ellen and JR stand up. She slips his jacket off of him and unbuttons his shirt. He unbuttons her shirt slips it off. Sue Ellen unbuckles JR’s pants as he kicks off his shoes. He grabs her and kisses her hard. “I love you Sue Ellen.” He unzips her skirt and lets it fall to the ground. She slides his pants down along with his boxers. She takes his pants and boxers off. As he is sliding back up she takes JR into her mouth. “Sweet Jesus woman.” He grabs the desk for support as Sue Ellen works her magic.

Sue Ellen works her way back up JR’s body. He picks her up and carries her to the couch. He stands over her and removes her panties, throwing them in the corner. Sue Ellen looks up at him with lust and love in her eyes. He leans down and kisses her hungrily as he enters her. Sue Ellen hugs him close as she calls out his name and whispers how much she loves him.

JR drives into her at a possessed pace. “I love you Sue Ellen. You belong to me, forever. I’ll never let you go again.”

Sue Ellen is in heaven. “I love you. Yes, I belong to you. No one can come between us.” JR’s last thrust throws them into sweet oblivion, causing both to cry out. JR collapses onto the couch pulling Sue Ellen on top of him. He takes her face in his hands. “God, I love you honey. You are incredible.”

Sue Ellen kisses his lips sweetly, “I love you too.” And she lays her head on his chest as they rest in each other’s embrace for a few minutes before getting dressed. After they get dressed, JR sits on the edge of Sue Ellen’s desk. She comes over and he wraps his arms around her waist. Her hands go around his shoulders and he pulls her close to him. He kisses her tenderly.

Sue Ellen smiles, “I love you JR, no one will ever change that.”

JR: “I know. I love you too. Bobby is still getting my boot in his ass when I see him.” They laugh.

Sue Ellen goes to open her door as Christian is about to knock. “Good timing, sweetie.”

Sue Ellen walks back up to JR as Christian comes in. “Hello Christian, how ya doin’?”

Christian: mumbles “Not as good as you.”

JR: “What’s that?”

Christian: “I’m doing fine sir. How about you?”

JR: “Wonderful, just wonderful.” He grabs Sue Ellen for one last kiss. “Well sugar, I’ll let you get back to work. We still on for dinner?” He stands up and grabs his Stetson from the rack.

Sue Ellen: “Yes. I’ll meet you at your office around 5:30.”

JR: “Ok darlin’.” He puts his Stetson on and turns around at the door. He gives her that JR grin. “Oh and thanks for lunch honey. It was delicious.” Sue Ellen blushes as JR walks out the door.

Christian is looking at Sue Ellen. “Oh…my…God. He is yummy. Tell me did you skip the main course and head straight for dessert?”

Sue Ellen smiles at Christian “Darling, with JR Ewing every meal is a five course feast.”

Christian and Sue Ellen laugh as they start to get back to work.

PART 10

Sue Ellen goes to JR’s office to meet him for dinner. As she is walking in the front doors, Wilson Cryder is walking out. They bump into each other and Wilson grabs her to keep her from falling.

Sue Ellen: “Oh, I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention.”

Wilson: “I’d say I was sorry too, but any day I get to hold a woman as beautiful as you in my arms is a good day.” JR comes out of his office and silently watches them. Wilson let’s go of Sue Ellen and sticks his hand out. “Wilson Cryder.”

Sue Ellen shakes his hand. “Sue Ellen Ewing.” Wilson smiles thinking he may be able to use this to his advantage.

Wilson: “Forgive me for staring, you are a very beautiful woman. Perhaps we could have dinner?”

Sue Ellen catches JR’s eyes and smiles at him. “Perhaps not. Especially since you’re trying to destroy my fiancé.”

Wilson: “Your fiancé?”

Sue Ellen: “Maybe you’ve heard of him Mr. Cryder. JR Ewing?” She walks over to JR and kisses him hello. “Ready for dinner?”

JR smiles his big smile “I’m ready for dessert honey.” They start to walk out. JR opens the door and Sue Ellen walks out and JR turns around. “Beautiful isn’t she? She’s all mine too, so if you value your life, you’ll keep your hands off of her. That is something I will not tolerate, Cryder. Business is business, don’t make it personal, or I’ll break ya boy.” With that he walks out and they go to dinner.

JR and Sue Ellen arrive at the Oil Barons and sit down for dinner.

Sue Ellen: “So that was Wilson Cryder?”

JR: “Yeah. What do you think?”

Sue Ellen: “I think, I don’t like him very much. He didn’t know you and I were getting remarried. If he’s dumb enough to not research everything about an enemy, then he should be easy to beat.”

JR laughs heartily. “My thinking exactly honey.”

Sue Ellen: “Oh, now see that’s frightening.”

JR: “What?”

Sue Ellen: “You and I thinking alike.” They both laugh and enjoy their dinner for a while.

JR: “Oh, I finished our wedding plans.”

Sue Ellen looks at him incredulously “You finished them?”

JR: “Yes. Finished, as in all done. You can’t back out now.”

Sue Ellen smiles. “So when are we getting married?”

JR: “Well I checked with Sarah about your schedule and it looks like next month is slow for you and me so I figured September 25th is a good day to get married.”

Sue Ellen smiling. “Well then the 25th it is. Where at?”

JR: “Now see, that’s where I had a small problem. I wanted this to be different from the other two. So I booked a small church for us to get married in.”

Sue Ellen: “Really? That’s great. I think it will be perfect.”

JR smiles at her. “As long as you say I do, it will be.”

Sue Ellen takes his hand. “JR, I’m not backing out. We started over remember. No past mistakes brought up.”

JR: “Yes, I remember. Dance with me?” They move to the dance floor. JR wraps his arms around Sue Ellen’s waist and her arms go around his neck. They touch foreheads as the dance.

Bobby walks in and sees Sue Ellen and JR dancing. He gets a disgusted look on his face and goes to sit down with his dinner companion, Holly Harwood. He’s trying to convince her to help him get back Ewing Oil. Bobby sits down and Holly comments on Sue Ellen and JR. “They certainly look happy.”

Bobby: “Yeah. I just hope for her sake, JR has changed.” He order a drink.

Holly: “He seems to have. I’ve never seen him show that much affection in public before. Losing Ewing Oil must have forced him to make some changes.”

Bobby: “That and losing Sue Ellen. JR convinced her to come back to Dallas.”

Holly: “Well I hope they’ll be happy. Now, let’s get down to business.”

JR: “I see my loving brother came in.”

Sue Ellen: “I also see he’s dining with Holly Harwood. I’m sure he’ll try to get her involved with getting with Ewing Oil back.”

JR pulls her closer. “Probably, but we’re not going to let him get Ewing Oil back, are we?”

Sue Ellen: “We?”

JR: “Yeah, we. I think we make a good team, so I want you to help me get Ewing Oil back and destroy Weststar in the process.
